So I've been on kind of a hiatus until now for a number of reasons, spanning from solving internet issues and moving to new hardware to dealing with some personal stuff. I also have been discouraged from working on the map because the step I'm on right now is pretty tedious - I've been working on turning the abstract gray shapes that represent rocks on the map into actual displacements, which is a time consuming and annoying process. If anyone has any advice/tips on sculpting complex displacement shapes reliably, I'd be really glad to hear it. Thank you for your patience and check out the artwork for a couple of new screenshots that are a sneek peek of how the rocks will be shaped in the new version!
