We know you all are eager to get to your duties. Victims demand justice and cultists tremble anticipating their punishment. And we’re happy to let you prove yourself. Soon, on April 23rd we plan to hold a playtest for Inkblood.

You’ll get a taste for detective work, familiarize yourself with your carriage and its many secrets, make your first steps at uncovering the grand conspiracy and capture some perpetrators mid-act.

• Free-form investigation – you’re given all the info, work with it as you see fit, no handholding.

• Couple of first cases – a murderous introduction and an investigation of the burned inn. You’ll see who you’re up against and make your first steps in the investigation.

• Fully equipped carriage – all the gadgets are at your disposal, look into the past, take photos and compile a case file.

Your thoughts! The goal of this whole ordeal is to collect feedback – what needs fine tuning, what you enjoyed the most and where you could get stuck. So, the Inquisition asks you (pressuring) to share your thoughts after the playthrough! All feedback and every feeling is very welcome.


To get in the playtest you just need to sign up on Inkblood’s Steam page! Find the green “Request Access” button and you’ll get in as soon as it starts – on April 23, 2026.
