Play Testers for the L4D series, City Campaign Generating Engine: The Creator

The Creator is a intellegent system which procedurally generate cities with random layouts, yet have many paths and streets intelligently blocked to result in a maze like labyrinth. However, instead of a perfect maze (which has a single correct path, all branching paths are dead ends), the layout generated would have a configurable amount escape routes, which trickle off from the survivors starting position; producing a unique game play experience every time.


This means that yes, if you get stuck at a certain point your team can always choose to explore another route. The Generated campaigns are by no means like the linear campaigns that exist to date. You are litterally (well virtually) in a city and have to find your way out.





During the preliminary stages of development, this group will be private: invite-only. Play testers which can give constructive critisim are needed and needed even more are testers who are interested, able, and willing to dedicate time to aiding in the research process. That is, becomeing actively involved in the project and more than just a player who just tests and comments on the by-product campaigns from the lastest stage and version of The Creator.
