Earlier, we mentioned that the source code for both TF2 and CS:GO was leaked today, leading to potential RCE exploits. Recently, Valve stated: "We have not found any reason for players to be alarmed or avoid the current builds." Due to such a statement occurring out of the blue, it is recommended to avoid Team Fortress 2 and CS:GO for at least 2-3 days until we can confirm what we have seen thus far. Other games, such as Garry's Mod and Synergy, should be good to go, but one must exercise caution when joining a server. That is all.

As you likely already know, source code for TF2 and CS:GO was recently leaked, and an RCE exploit was found within, which can infect your PC with malware or worse if on the same server as the hacker, with an exception seen below. As a result, plans to resurrect the server have been put on hold until further notice. I urge all members of the community to avoid Source engine games entirely until a fix is developed. If you must play Garry's Mod, use private servers. On the other hand, if you're intending to play on Team Fortress 2 on a private server, you're out of luck.[images-ext-2.discordapp.net] I say once again, do not launch any Source engine games until a fix has been developed. That is all.
