What is #/co/mic-writers @ rizon?

If the name hasn't sunk into your skull, #/co/mic-writers is an irc room on the Rizon IRCNet. It was started in order to provide a place for anons from /co/ to discuss their ideas for comics. If you plan on submitting anything in the future, please create a Google account so you can make use of Google Documents, which allows realtime editing by multiple people.

What are this group's goals?

Goal 1: Idea Sharing and Feedback

Feel free to share your ideas on the irc room/steam chat and get the opinions of the others who are in it.

Goal 2: Resource Sharing

Eventually the website will have links to resources on things like how to draw and how to write. It will also contain links to where you can get things like Future Shocks short stories and comic scripts to help you plan short stories.

Goal 3:

We're not ready yet to organize /co/ short comic story challenges, but eventually in a month or two's time I hope to organize one month challenges where writers and artists work on short stories no longer than 5 pages to be published in a "PDF magazine" similar to /lit/'s online magazine.
