This is the first time I am using steam group function but it looks well usefull xD.
Anyways, if you have checked sgl website, you might have noticed that we are potentially playing 3 maps on the same evening (best of three, so if each team

win 1 map => 3 maps).

In order to start 2008 in a positive way and start enjoying playing again (which wasn't really the case anymore end of 2007) it would be nice that every1 :

a)Involves himself a bit more in clan organisation, that include all aspects of it, so that (at least) every1 realise how much silence & waiting can damage a

clan. Despite the few inactivity periods / chronical bad results, the clan has remained alive (with the same lineup) when many others died / reformed 999

times. But this is not 'magical' and it's important every1 realise it and realise that only 1-2 persons cannot always fight to keep 7-8 people aware of what's going on in the clan, when we have games, etc.. Too few people in the cs scene realise that keeping a clan alive and enjoyable require EVERY1 to be motivated and involve himself into bringing news (cups to attend / website / any funny cs/irc things, anything..) to / helping the clan. And that's why so many clans fold after a few monthes (for the best !). It would be nice if every1 could understand this and do the necessary to make uV an exemplary clan (\o/).

b)Idles on irc as much as possible, at computer startup if possible, so that:
+we don't have to run after every1, ask and re-ask for an appropriate time for playing pcw.
+we can adress message to all clan members at once (obviously part of organisation)
+we show sign of life and stay aware of the cs community events (cups etc)

c)makes sure to start all clan games (pcw & offi) in proper conditions, able to focus and call as much as possible. Again, this is a necessary condition to

make the game enjoyable and we have not done it for a while. It's enough to have 1 player not trying to make the whole team play much worse and therefore not

enjoyable. This also supposes you like CS and want to give your best during all games (remember that if you dont feel like trying much one day, maybe a

teammate does,and you don't want to penalize him or be penalized when it will be turn to want to play seriously). I'm convinced that if we can do that, our playing level will be drastically improved (this is imo the main and almost only difference between good clans and us).


d)Play with confidence, encourage each others and play for the clan (not for skilltracker \o/). We have not had enough communication between each others during last few games. We haven't been thinking as a team but as individuals, trying not to fail their own job which is not the way a proper teamplay can be achieved. It would be nice to count on each others much more and think what teammates need as much as covering our place.

e)Tells us what else should be done / changed etc to make uV a cool clan over 2008 !
