The History of Clan Endless

The oldest roots of Clan Endless are only known to me in the form of stories and legends. In times long gone, somewhere around 2003, there was a Battlefield 1942 clan called Afrika Korps {AK}. According to the legends, there was a member in this clan called 101st Airborne. The clan had about 13 members, wasn't too organized, and eventually disintegrated when the leader of the clan left.

From the ruins of this clan emerged the Special Operation Forces =SOF=. This new clan was founded by 101st Airborne and General Patton, both survivors of {AK}'s downfall. This is where the story of Clan Endless really starts. Some were regular players of Battlefield 1942, and were recruited into the =SOF= clan simply because they were Dutch.

=SOF= looked pretty nice. There was a forum, and something resembling a website. But =SOF='s fate wasn't aimed for survival. Everybody in the clan had permission to recruit new members. Good for some of course, cuz that's how we rolled into the clan, but not so good for the clan itself. Eventually =SOF= became nothing but a big mass of players that didn't even know eachother. There was an attempt to organize the clan... General Patton simply chopped the list of members in three by creating batallions. A decision based really more on fantasy than any practical conciderations. In the end, the clan became too fat for it's own good. There was virtually no activity on the forums, and when General Patton left, the clan's days were numbered.

But the cycle of life and death continued. Some of us decided to found a new clan, a better clan, a clan where we were organized. A clan that operates as a single body. A clan where people knew eachother as brothers. And on January 15th, 2005, Clan Endless aroze from the ashes of =SOF=. And Clan Endless thusfar truly is endless, for while only few remember the start, the end is nowhere near.

October 2005 began the second era of Clan Endless. We grew our ranks a little, changed leadership around and began to seek competition. After several failed attempts at getting a match started with other clans, in December of '05 we joined entered league play. Over the past couple years we have taken our clan from a laid-back crew of goofballs to a well-oiled killing machine of goofballs.

And so begins the third age of Endless....

We have now expanded into many games rather than just focusing on one game we focus on pwning across the game universe.
