Hopefully fun variants of the game :)

The general idea of this group is to create some game variants in CIV 5 or other Civ games by all means, thus making the game (again, hopefully) more interesting in some respects. I made this a closed group due to the fact that I want proper players that do not quit. Everyone can invite whomever they like as long as it is a no quitter.

I have some ideas that I will elaborate on soon, but everyone of you can throw own ideas in here.

Ideas:
1. An idea of mine is to have all of us refrain from war until at least the industrial or modern age (all players entered), and the only way to win will be through domination. This will give all time to mobilize, it will be more resembling of the world today, alliances, geopolitical thinking, trade and of course modern warfare.

There does not need to be one winner, there can be for example alliances that will win, however; I feel like these alliances ought to be determined the moment everyone's position is clear.

Of course there can be teams, but I believe it more fun if alliances get determined later through start positions and also one can go own ways in the tech tree.

Variants of the variant:

a. Teams on any maps

b .Alliances are changable and there can be but one winner

c. Diplomacy as a possible way of winning

d. Alliance based, but with science and cultural included (teams in settings probably preferreable)
