The 10 Multiplayer Commandments

1. Thou shalt not grief other players.

2. Thou shalt not immediately ask if anyone needs help with a project upon joining. 90% of the answers will be no – because only an idiot is going to trust a complete stranger with their belongings.

3. Thou shalt not pilot a ship directly towards any other base or ship with inertial dampeners off. Accidents can, and will happen! Admins cannot tell the difference between an intentional crater and an accidental one.

4. Thou shalt learn how to fly before trying to fly near someone's base. Nothing says "I'm here to help" quite like swinging your ship around like a wooden board in a three stooges sketch.

5. Thou shalt not ask to 'borrow' a ship. Everyone knows that 'borrow' is just another word for 'destroy'.

6. Thou shalt learn the basics before joining a game. We have taught many players before you, and there are now hundreds of video tutorials. Go watch.

7. Thou shalt not construct a small ship on top of another ship and then complain when one/both of them glitch out of control and are sent spinning off into space.

8. Thou shalt not construct miners with a silly number of drill heads. 27 drill heads? Just… no.

9. Thou shalt not complain about the server settings or ask for them to be changed.

10. Thou shalt not ask to load the last save when thou hast accidentally destroyed thy own belongings trying out a new, untested or known-to-be-buggy feature with your largest, most expensive and delicate ship.
