Yes it is true!

This glorious day marks the return of the High King after him and his two Chieftain’s Armies went missing for over Month in the barren wastelands to the North of Britannia without sending word or news of the Campaign.

Of the 50,000 soldiers that went on the Campaign only 10,000 returned along with the High King, however, the two Chieftains of the Bibroci and Cantiaci Tribes did not return and shall have an honorary funeral in their memory as well as for the memory of the brave soldiers that gave their lives for Britannia.

When asked what had happened the High King simply sat and told a bloody tale of hardship and death, but also one of overall victory and glory. The 50,000 strong Armies of Britannia had crossed the border and proceeded without confrontation for a Week, which in itself was suspicious, the Celts and Picts would surely of known by now of the attack yet no Armies met to fight against them, that however was about to change.

First, scouts and messengers sent out to give word of the Campaigns progression ceased coming back and no longer was the continuation of the Campaign met without confrontation as now bands of Celtic and Pictish soldiers streamed out of the forests and tested the resolve of our Britannian Forces with vicious and sudden attacks that would make a lesser being cower with fear.

But the Forces of Britannia did not cower in fear! No instead they held their ground against the constant onslaughts of the Enemy, they proved their worth to the Gods and faced each wave with the up most spirit and vigour that would put even the greatest of known warriors to shame.

Let us hope the High King’s return be the first of many grand things to happen to Britannia.
