Go to the library, right click Brink go to Prop then select " SET LAUNCH OPTIONS" and put in "+com_allowconsole 1"

Load up Brink then press ` and/or ~ and type in r_shadows 0. It should help out till they fix the issues.

Brink is a go!

after many many ... many months of waiting Brink has finally been released!

If you're not playing it yet, then your obviously doing it something wrong. So get on and start randomly killing people! Horray for violence!

IMPORTANT READ THIS! Watch out for a guy named Admin Community, he has a Steam logo picture and has no account set up. He will send you a message saying Steam will give you free games or whatever. There will be a link asking you for your email and password for both your steam account and email pass word. Beware.

admins, contact me. I'm one of the group mods and defacto captain (until I find a better one) for the other slighty larger Brink Canada group. This group rocks and I don't want to take away any members (ive belonged since games release) but we are forming a "Team Canada" hopefully for future competitive play. If anyone is interested please join there at the announcement post I've created.(but don't leave this group because it's super awesome too)
When we have enough team members committed to regular practices and scrimages (it takes awhile to get good enough for competitive play) I will announce regular schedule and possibly our own servers.

I love me some hardcore fps shooting, this is satisfying that. I am a bit disappointed it's not all I thought it would be, but I see myself enjoying this through and through at least till Skyrim comes out. Hoping for some updates soon, more maps, more gear to play with/abilities for lvl 20s. (I have 4 now) oi, and PLEASE a fix to the grenades, they may as well be water balloons :P
am I right people?
