Hey guys,

Sad news today as we unfortunately get disqualified in the preseason tournament.

We were set to play them at four pacific, six central and I had notified everyone of the game, two of our guys couldnt make it (one was away) and we only had one stand in ready for the game. Unfortunately the admin was ready to DQ us until we tried to find another way to get things done. We were given the option to try and make the game next week, but would have to have agreement from the team in front of us on the bracket. They weren't availble and the admin gave the final vote to either play us or DQ to SFU (the uni we were to play today). They voted against us and we unfortunately have be disqualified. We were not ready for the match and it is ok that this has occurred. Here is where we go from here.

1. Enjoy your break: have fun with dota and just take it easy.

2. ready for next season: I am assuming the next season will be upon us as the new year rolls around, and when we come back we can find a more stable scheduele to practice.

3. stay or go: if you wish to stay with the team that is great but if you wish to part ways and not participate that is ok. Just shoot me a message as to why you wish to leave. We will have reworking of the roles and also if any new people come to play dota, then we will see if they fit in with the team.

After match thoughts and Updates

Hey guys,

First off hope all of you guys have an enjoyable thanksgiving. Yesterday at 3 pm we had our loser bracket match agains Mizzou. We pulled off a win and now will move up again in the bracket. We will either play USC: Still Better Than UCLA or Simon Frasier University. Ill see if I can dig up some replays from their teams.

This match we had a stand-in from both our team and also a friend from outside. Thanks Sponi, Quin's friend for playing for us for the game and also shout out to THE LuckyCricket (Eric) for playing Keeper of the Light for the first time and helping us get the win.

After some deliberation We have decided to move around the Main team just a little in order to better fufill roles within the game, with everyone still in their respective teams here is the new main roster switches.

Hard Carry: Computerfr33k (Eric)

Off Lane/Suicide: Ditone (Quin)
Jungle/off support: Ozeri15 (Ozzie)
Hard Support: Short ♥♥♥♥ Cuizi (Aaron)

New practice: so one of the things we really haven't done well is practice, and it is something I feel that we could do better if we wanted to. So for break we can have practice almost everyday or pick certain days out of the week in order to get better as a whole. Some things I would like to have;

- Both teams present
- Scrim with each other but also other teams
- Have time to talk about stuff or if poeple want help, give them a hand.

I know its a lot to ask for but it would be cool to see us do for the team.

Now onto the last order of buisness, VoIP software.

At the Gaming lab matches one thing was made clear, it was hard for us to coordinate well and need some form of communication. While we could just use skype and be good with that I understand the concerns for skypes quality and some lag issues for some. While one of the team members is a part of a clan and has access to ts3 servers, I would perfer not to intrude on their server. I have made the decision to go with Raidcall, just due to the fact I can make the group for free.
