I see that there are lots of people who is bothered by seeing Baby Beel's penis or his nakedness. So let me clarify this issue a bit so you don't get wrong ideas and why creator of this series not going to put diaper on Baby Beel.

Actually, there is a "diapered" version being created for possible international TV airings.

So for all you people creeped out by caricatures of human anatomy, hope for a dub and TV showing in your respective country.

Frankly, it's a cultural thing and you should try and get over any subconscious aversion;

Like being naked with a bunch of other people in a public bath, it's just one of those things you have to get used to. They believe that a naked boy is "doing what boys do best and being an immature naked child", or something along those lines. It is however a little sexist because they only do this for guys. They don't want 'ne nakey girls...

And baby will be always stay as naked untill he grows up. And if you think that this is public indecency then I guess you have serious problems and you are gravely mistaken big time. But well I don't blame that kind of people since and I guess that might depend on your cultural upbringing.

In normal cultures, babies are often naked. If this turns people on, or makes people fear others are turned on, the whole culture has a big problem. Personally, I found the naked thing somehow funny, and also thought it gave a weird authenticity to the show.

It just one of the cultural differences between Japan and the Western countries. Japanese people find a baby with no diaper is just funny and not disturbing. In fact, It’s more likely that Japanese would think it’s ludicrous about the fact the Westerners have to make a big fuss about it. Japanese are used to seeing naked babies from old tales and the other anime like Dragon Balls or Gintama and I can’t think of others right now but I’m sure there are plenty of them. Also, most Non-Japanese wouldn’t know the scene Oga find the big guy floating in the river and find the baby inside of him is a parody of The Legend of Momotarou(Peach Boy), and it would be weird to think if Momotarou was wearing a diaper when it comes out of the giant peach.

In my opinion it also shows how mature you are and how Japanse people is so mature and not making any big fuss about it. In short if that nudeness really troubles you then don't bother to watch it and that's all <3
