The Azashiro Clan (痣城一族, Azashiro ichizoku) are one of the Five Noble Families in the Heavenly Host. They were formerly a family of lesser nobles and a vassal family to the Kuchiki Clan, but were elevated to higher nobility after Tenshirō Azashiro defeated Tokinada Tsunayashiro. After Tenshirō adopted the nickname of "The Dragon," the Azashiro Clan became known as the House of the Dragon (家の竜, Ie no Ryū).
