Athena was founded on the 25th of October 2001 shortly after 9/11, it was originally just a support PMC deploying translators, radio operators and security details in the middle east but it rapidly grew to world wide operations in both poles, asia and africa, in 2005 due to a lack of funding, Athena was shutdown and all Operatives were de-activated but in 2020 with global conflicts rising, Athena's highest instance : The Council, decided to re-activate all sleeping operatives and re-activate Athena, now, once again, deployed all around the world, Athena is mainly active on the Island as they call it deployed against a vast hostile Army.
