Welcome to our group page. Armageddon is, as dayz goes, a friendly server full of great people. Some will shoot you, some will help you and others will drag your body into the woods and make you wish you'd never been born.

Our server is what we like to think of as pimped vanilla. Dayz as it comes, enhanced with:

- Enough vehicles to get around
- Some great map additions
- Missions
- AI

We have friendly and active admins who believe that the game experience is the most important thing for the players and do everything possible to keep that experience as good and true as possible.

If you enjoy playing with us, tell your friends.. invite them here. Hero, Survivor, Bandit or noob that runs round in circles throwing flares, you're all welcome.

Epoch too?

We decided that we have such a load of base builders that you'd enjoy Armageddon in the Epoch environment too.

As such Armageddon2 - Epoch was put on line today. We've added all your favourite map additions already. The server is overly rich in vechicles to give all our regulars a little headstart with capital and getting around.

The AI won't make it in for a few days more, so now is the time to get those bases up and running!

Better late than never

So one week AFTER we did it, I have time to write a quick note explaining why we have rolled back to 1.8.2 again.

1.8.3 had the following issues for us:

- really bad graphics glitches around fires
- people getting stuck in floors
- conflict with our admin tools and anti-hack, resulting in some very interesting random kicks and a lot of problems for our admin crew

Bottom line is everyone seemed to think 1.8.2 was better... so we put it back, and deployed a number of the extras we were waiting on 1.8.3 for anyway.

This means we have:

- Enhanced Cherno, Elektro, Balota, Kamenka, Grishino, Stary
- Reworked Skalisty
- Added 2 new cities in the north (center) and northwest on the way up the pass
- Added a whole lot of other POI's like 'Piggyboy's cabin', 'last hope fort', 'the ambush', 'the unburried', 'Keln outpost'
- Added 2 event areas, Castle Zokalo and Sea Base 1

Unfortunatly none of these show up on the map so you'll just have to explore ;)

I have to say I'm also really happy that the server is so full despite the rollback. It's great to see so many people on.
