Activision has done many stupid things. Among these are shortening the single player in Modern Warfare 2 so that they could use the rest for Modern Warfare 3, not having dedicated servers in Modern Warfare 2 for PC, and Firing the Infinity Ward Bosses and probably ruining COD for everyone. This group is not just about Call of Duty though. Join if you have any reason to hate Activision.

Activision doesn't care about its customers.

Activision just wants money. All of the Infinity Ward employees who actually cared about us, the customers, are no longer there. Activision fired some. Others left because they didn't want to work for idiots.

Instead of patches that fix glitches and prevent hacking, overpriced map packs are released. Hacking is a huge problem. More often than not, there are hackers in the games I join. If we had dedicated servers, this wouldn't happen. Moderators and Administrators would ban hackers. Activision doesn't want there to be dedicated servers though. They want to reserve the ability to terminate the service so that if they release a new game, we will be forced to buy it.

Before they were fired, the leaders of Infinity Ward made up a great story for Modern Warfare 2. It was twice as long as what we got to play. I'm guessing Activision knew they would be firing the Infinity Ward bosses. They saved the other half of Modern Warfare 2 for Modern Warfare 3 because they knew that they wouldn't have anybody to make it up. Why did they fire the bosses? Either they just weren't thinking, or they wanted more money.

Activision doesn't care about publishing great games, they just care about money, money, and more money.
