For a moment, there was hope.

Fifty years have passed since Gordon Freeman stormed the Citadel. The world's resistance movements have assembled into nations and regained control of Earth from the Combine, whose planetary remnants now hide in the Arctic.

Though the rule of the Combine has been broken, Earth is far from safe; Aliens, Combine cultists and countless other threats reside in the outlands. Furthermore, the world is fractured by "cessation zones", pockets of instability in which the laws of physics break down.

The nation of East Lambda is at war with Revelation, an alliance consisting of Combine cults and raider warbands. The war has raged for five years. Combined with the sudden growth of cessation zones, it has created a refugee crisis that has locked down the entire country, including the capital city of Vance.

Ante Diluvium takes place outside the southwestern border of East Lambda in the year 50 AL, or 2072 AD. Between the outlander town of Galatian and the Lambda refugee center Camp Merrill exists a long stretch of wilderness that may contain the secret to defeating Revelation - or the final nail in Lambda's coffin.


Ante Diluvium is a whitelisted roleplay server exploring an interpretation of the Half Life universe set 50 years after the events of the second game in the series, Half Life 2. It takes place in a disputed stretch of territory outside the Liberation state of East Lambda at a time of war between Lambda and a cult known as Revelation.

The lore of Ante Diluvium is expansive and covers multiple nations across several decades. It is rife with mysteries and questions, the answers to which must be found by you, the players.

In order to play on Ante Diluvium, you must first be added to the whitelist. In order to do so, you must submit a short application. This is just so we can keep track of who plays and ensure a degree of quality control.
