Organising a game session

I've been away for a week, but back and ready to organise something.

How would people like to arrange a session? Some of us are morning people and some of us are night people (I'm either, but nothing before 7am pls). Is Steam events the best method? An email?

What about voice comms? There are comms built into TTS but I don't know if they are any good. I use Steam chat with raptoralpha, but some people find it tricky and flaky.

Best first game is something we're all kind of familiar with?
