Re Acknowledge Eternal Punishment

Hey guys,

To anyone that reads this, because there's been a lack of attention from IW towards MW2, there's A LOT of modified servers out there.

Most have the level hack, the moment you get in, you instantly get lvl 70.

That said, i've been placed into 3 of them in the last few months, 2 of which occured in the last two DAYS. So they're cropping up more and more.

If you end up in one and get lvl 70 (essentially a "free" prestige), i'd just like to let RaEp members know that we understand there's nothing you can do about it, and the effects cannot be reversed, so don't stress it - if it happens, it happens.

If possible, could you please take screenshots of the player list for future reference =).

Okay in light of this, looks like it's getting a LOT worse day by day.
I'll put links to screenshots later but here's the basic run down:
-Hacked Server 1 - These servers are usually obvious, some aspect of the game will be modified, such as super movement speed, extra high jump, unlimited ammo, everyone locked to only one gun, 10 round clip in a gun with only 5 rounds (eg 10 bullets in an intervention) etc. You'll also notice the moment you get in, you're level 70 on your current prestige. The server will also have text running across the middle of the screen, usually the person who's running the server, their name and something along the lines of "enjoy your stay".

-Hacked Server 2 - You can tell this one from the on-screen text and loading bar. The on-screen text will contain information such as Host - NAME, FPS (frames per second) and a loading bar across the middle of the sceen, usually starting somewhere at around 60% then finishing at 100% and restarting at 60% again - and so forth. This server will unlock all titles and badges, as well as give you level 70 and permanently display a ping column (next to the ping bars) giving a ping in MS (miliseconds) on the scoreboard..

I've just been through multiple hacked server 1's, and once in a hacked server 2, if you can get out of server 2 fast enough, you can avoid having your files modified - as proven by a clan member.

Doing a re-install of the game, may I advise you do the same should you encounter Server 2, I don't know what of the files it has modified are legal, and which are not - should the useless VAC ban you anyway.
