Duped Items

The whole "duped" fiasco is the biggest scam that's hit the TF2 Economy. Another item having the same Original Item ID (which isn't even visible in-game) has no effect on the Hat, and SHOULD have no effect on price. Originally, people de-valued duped items because they believed there was the risk that Valve may remove the duped items. Since then, Valve's confirmed that they won't do this, as it'd cause an uproar from people who bought hats legitimately and then found out they were duped. There's no risk of deletion anymore; people just use "duped" as an excuse to lowball.
