Garry's Mod || Iran-Iraq War Roleplay

Background

The year is 1984. Iraq is currently at war with Iran over territory disputes. Iran is fresh out of an Islamic Revolution in 1979, which overthrew the Shah and turned Iran into a theocracy. The current leader of Iran is Ruhollah Khomeini. On the other hand, Iraq is a prosperous nation, where 1 Iraqi dinar is worth 4 US dollars. The former leader of Iraq, Ahmed Hassan al-Bakr, stepped down from his position, and let Saddam Hussein take over as president of Iraq. Saddam went to war with Iran over territorial disputes over who has rights to the Shatt al-Arab river. Saddam created a swift invasion against Iran and took over a small portion of Western Iran. By 1982, Iran gained all of said territory back, and it became a stalemate by 1984. The server takes place in 1984.

How the server will work
There will be 2 sides. The Iranians and the Iraqis. Plans for American intelligence may be added. NOTE, THE FACTIONS ARE NOT FINAL The Iraqi factions will be: Iraqi Army [Sub Divisions: Iraqi Tank Division, ] , Iraqi Republican Guard [Sub Divisions: Iraqi Republican Guard Tank Division, ]. The Iranian factions will be: Iranian Army [Sub Divisions: Iranian Tank Division], Iranian Revolutionary Guard [Sub Divisions: Unknown at this time]

The way the combat works may be changed at any time, but at the moment, this is what we have. Every day or half a day, there will be an event to capture specific territory. If for example, the objective is to capture the village in the center of the map, if the Iraqi's capture it and hold it for 15-20 minutes, they control it till the next attack by the iranians.
