Arma 3 Semi-Realism Group

We are a semi-serious group of Arma players who get together to play semi-serious modded operations. We will start off with squad-sized operations, expanding our mission size as our membership grows. We are currently developing a custom mission framework to enable us to create exciting and challenging missions quickly and easily, while implementing a number of custom features to enhance the experience.

We enjoy challenging gameplay experiences, and as such we tend to use unzoomed optics, rarely use night vision goggles, and stick with lighter vehicles such as technicals and little birds (Although as we gain more players, we will certainly expand into large combined arms scenarios with Tanks and CAS). Using AI modifications, we hope to increase the realism of the game beyond default Arma. We will also use the ACE mod for certain features, mainly the interaction menu and basic medical system. At some point we may consider the advanced system, but for now we plan on sticking to the basics. We find ACE stamina a nuisance, so that will for sure be disabled, using instead default stamina, as well as ACE scope adjustment. Everything in our missions will be customized and tailored to what we want in order to have a challenging experience, but most importantly, have fun.

We will not ruin the gameplay experience by imposing strict regulations that have no real meaning inside of Arma, nor will we limit what roles players can play based on their rank. We believe that limiting roles like this gets old really fast, and we want to have fun. As long as you have shown us that you can do what you have signed up for, be it in another mission or in a training run, or some other way, you can do whatever you want, from basic rifleman to squad leader to company commander to pilot to vehicle commander. We will have ranks simply as an indicator of seniority, but either way they will have no play on what you can do in the missions.

Once we reach a critical mass, we hope to also begin PvP operations in order to get a different kind of play style where your enemies think and adapt, better than AI can do.

We also encourage members to play together outside of our operations, be it Arma or another game. We aim to be a welcoming community, and what better way to make new friends than to play games with them?
