~West Side Accident Reports~

-Almond Gap Derailment ~ Porter #1 0-4-0 derailed at the junction pulling 6 empty skeleton cars & a caboose, due the faulty points the #1 turn on its side.

-Branchwood High Trestle Wreck ~ C-1 #106 2-6-0 chuffing hard along the mountain towards the high station, #106 went across the high trestle pulling 2 baggage cars & 6 Pullman coaches.

-Bear Woods Wreck ~ Shay #1 two-truck came down the mountain from the logging camp taking the loaded log cars to the sawmill at Branchwood. #1 brakes failed, lost control and flew off the rails leaving pile of logs and twisted metal on the side of the ditch.
