Welcome to the Velocity RP Steam group! This is a Steam group for members and frequent players of the Velocity RP server. We will post news and updates here.

Rules
(These may be updated whenever needed. The list is most certainly not complete yet.)

1. "Don't be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Number one rule." -- Vanilliant

2. No hateful speech. While a couple of jokes are ok, don't overdo it. Hateful speech towards someone's race, sex, religion, sexuality, and such will not be tolerated.

3. Gore and porn is allowed. Have fun. c;

4. No linesplitting. What is linesplitting? Google it.

5. We commonly use strong language and such. If you get offended by a simple F-bomb (or two, or dozen), then you should probably leave.

6. No advertising, spamming, or posting links that could lead to viruses, malware, and/or spyware. Period.

7. Don't hate on bronies or furries. We have bronies and furries running the server, hence the fact that the staff was running MLSRP and Unforgiven Gaming before Velocity RP. If you call people pedophiles--or anything else that's negative--just because they like MLP and/or furry art, you will get kicked/banned.

Server Downtime explained

I'm going to be brief. The owner has decided to take a weekend away, and during said weekend, someone accessed his PC, shutdown the servers, disabled the website, and changed FTP passwords.

I've tried calling his skype today, no answer. I have him removed on steam for other reasons, and his phone is diverting to voicemail instantly, indicating the damn thing is switched off, despite skype reading as online.

If any of you can get in touch with him, tell him if he can't try to tell me what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on, then he doesn't have a coder.

Server Update (5/4/2014)

I made a small patch today, and I'm making this news post before I collapse at my keyboard.

Economy is (to the best of my knowledge) fully functioning. Some features may be broken, but I am working out the kinks constantly.

The jobs have been reorganised. This should solve any confusion you may have had searching through jobs. Similar jobs are grouped together.

Donor admin is nearing completion. It should be ready for purchase by late tomorrow.

GPhone has been updated with some behind-the-scenes code. You won't notice much, other than the ability to read your own message, and also that new line crap wont be broken.

VIP Jobs now have their own menu.

I fixed the "Nil" menu. Some things apparently go in there, but what... IDK.

Billboards are now patched. You wont see giant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ signs everywhere.

GMOD Legs will be returning after the next restart. Vanilliant, IDGAF what you say, they are going on the server one way or another. Even if I have to hide the code from you.

VIP slots will be active as soon as Vanilliant makes the necessary changes with our host. We have arranged to get 10 extra slots for no added price, given an understanding and history we have with the providers.

Next restart will install a connection notice to the server. Handy...

I'm updating rules tomorrow, if I can be arsed to.
