Welcome to VDV, who are we? what are we? We are Russia’s Elite Airborne Infantry. that focuses on hard and aggressive shock tactics, with Mechanized and Air assets attached. Parachuting from aircraft with our BMD-4s, Riding into battle in an Mi-24 with guns blazing, or sneaking our way behind enemy lines. Our goal is to bring the grittiness of combat into arma, something many units fail to do, whether this is heroic charges across bridges, under RPG and DShK fire, shrapnel exploding off our BMPs and BTRs. We take you to battlefields in the grey areas of warfare, Ukraine. Syria, Crimea and many more…

We purposely don’t identify as a certain regiment or brigade, so that we can rotate through them including VDV GRU and other units.
