Just a mod.

This will be the base for the developers of the Half-Life 2 mod, The Unknown on Steam. This will be where we will make progress on the mod until we have enough stuff for our mod that we could put it up on ModDB.

New rules come every day, new leaders come into power every day, and each day as time passes, things change.
In the year 2123, for about a hundred years the Sasmus have been known by everyone in the world, from their immense power in which they took the world into their own control through force. Destroyed cities, formed new cities in the name of "The New World Order", usually referring to a name like the Illuminati or the Free-masons. That's who the Sasmus are. They soon took control of the world in their name.

Of course, this is only the beginning.

Realan City. You are Mark Yamelle. As a newly recruited police detective for the New Calgmeri police department, you are sent on your first live "investigation" to stop terrorists attacking the Mar Towers near the central district, which are under control of very rich and powerful men who hold the city in their hands. These Mar Towers are held most important to the Sasmus other than the Citadel, or the "Realan Tower", and so this is a top priority job. A test of morals is then handed to you as you walk in, and you realize that these people are anything but terrorists. In fact, they look more like refugees. You see that it is police brutality against the weak and poor being commanded by the rich and powerful, so you take action
and defend these people and run from the police.
Since many people say there is no escape from the heavily guarded and walled city, he is always on the run from the police, and possibly the all- superior Sasmus military itself. Mark gains help from old enemies, and makes new ones, and soon discovers secrets about his own life that he never knew
before.
