"Welcome, Unbound...

The Battle of Tris Station

With the increased activity along the borders of uncharted space and dozens of cargo ships being knocked out and stripped to charred husks, the Council of Space deployed the Battle squadron Shadow's Plight to escort a supply convoy. Nearing the end of the escort mission, the Battle squadron detected a distress beacon from Tris Station and broke off to investigate, arriving to find Battle squadron Trishka wiped out and the Station badly damaged, with its shields and defense batteries knocked offline, yet no signs of the enemy.

Search teams were deployed to check the Station for survivors, however the Marines on the Station and the Battle squadron outside would soon come under ambush as this enemy appears from the Void, without any warning or traceable Starburst signature. In the end, the forces at the Station managed to repel the attackers and a large portion of the Station's crew and the crews of Battle squadron Trishka were found and rescued, however it was not without cost...

In the aftermath of this, the Counter Admiral in command of the Battle squadron Shadow's Plight has been given authorization to conduct further scouting missions to learn more about this threat. Battle squadrons Hellstorm and Courten will be accompanying the remaining vessels of Shadow's Plight on this mission.
