In the murky world of Resident Evil lore (specifically featured in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City), Delta Team, famously known as Wolfpack, represents the absolute pinnacle of Umbrella’s wetworks capabilities.

Unlike the more public-facing U.B.C.S. (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service), Wolfpack is part of the U.S.S. (Umbrella Security Service)—the company’s elite, secret special forces unit that answers only to the highest executives.

The Role of Wolfpack
While Alpha Team (led by HUNK) was tasked with the high-profile retrieval of the G-Virus from William Birkin, Wolfpack was deployed into Raccoon City during the 1998 outbreak with a much darker objective: Project Clean Sweep.

Their primary mission parameters included:

Eliminating Survivors: Silencing anyone with knowledge of Umbrella’s involvement.

Destroying Evidence: Deleting data logs and burning facilities.

Neutralizing the Police: Sabotaging the R.P.D. to ensure the city remained a "black hole" of information.
