Valve, please listen to your fans.

For those of you who haven't seen, Valve is planning on updating Steam. Massively. The new update has some good qualities, but it also has some bad ones, the main one being that new Steam is a resource hog. This group is to garner support for people being able to choose which version of Steam they like better, rather than have one being forced onto them. Voice your opinions on the forums!
