3Mag was originally a Black Ops clan on Xbox 360 before its key members became PC Master Racists. The clan was named after the "Dual Mags" attachment in Black Ops, which gave the player faster reload for every second magazine.

3Mag was conceived by user countofcounts, and founded on Steam by DrizzNip.
