Story wise, the main character is a nano-augmented soldier, working for a peace-keeping organisation not that dissimilar to UNATCO, and the plot focuses on some political controversy related to militant regime from Hong Kong. The main bad guy has a doctrine which parallel's Tracer Tong's desire to force a technological dark age to restore humanity.
So yeah, I felt bad about leaving it out, as it does fit in and technically some things from it could've definitely occurred between the events of Deus Ex and Invisible War, because it's set in the 2060's.
