BACK UP, BACK UP, BACK UP!

The Storm Chasers is a Garry's Mod only existing and exclusive Storm Chasing server(s). Garry's Mod is a modification of the Half-Life 2 Source Engine allowing players to have a "sandbox" of everything given in the original game, to build physics objects.

The Storm Chasers take this one step forward. Thanks to "The Vman", a player of RhapidFyre's unique tornado series of maps (levels), players can spawn items and build storm chasing equipment, and interact with a fully functional tornado! Imagine spawning a truck, welding a bunch of stuff to it to make it more durable, and then attaching a tornado probe trailer to it, to intercept one of mother nature's beasts and deploy.

Join us today! You can track down F1, F3 and F5 tornadoes, try to survive, or hide from the destruction. If you join our roleplay server you can role play normally but expect destruction every few hours. The maps will reset so do not worry about losing all your work from them.

For those of you without Discord, life happens. Being 31 years old, 10 years after the creation of Highway from my bedroom in my grandma's house, with a wife and two of my own children, and a full time career... It's a struggle. Seeing as how this map is a free release as an appreciation of 10 years of storm chasing on Garry's Mod, I feel not meeting a deadline is literally the least of all problems.

Howdy, been a while since we last made any announcements.

Started to use Hammer again, after a few months of mapping vacation. Been having issues with a slow dying Seagate drive that maxes at 1MB/s so mapping has been slow. And then valley and highway_2014 got corrupted, which took a while to fix.

We will be updating the content packs over the next few weeks so the first few updates will likely have some sound bugs and missing textures. It wont be instant, updates will come when I have time to upload a working version.

NOTE: We still use EP2/HL2/CSS for textures, make sure you have the games. Nightfall uses CSS for most of it.
