Hello!

It's been a while since I have opened, or attempted so, a roleplay group here. Honestly, as others have found, it seems that Roleplay in a historical aspect has died out for the most part. This can be attributed to a multitude of reasons, one of the largest being the fact that there is no new Total War Games, or that it simply wasn't fun anymore for new players.

Anyways, let me explain this oppurtunity to all of you adventuring Westerosi Lords to Be.

We find ourselves in this roleplay in a rather precarious situation. Eddard Stark, having learned of the Bastards of Robert, has returned to Winterfell following Robert's Recovery from his infection. On his return, his bastard son, Jon Snow, writes for him to meet him at Castle Black, so he may learn his true heritage. There, Aerys and Eddard confirm five seasons early what we have just learned, Jon Snow (Aegon Targaryen) is a Targaryen truely born to his Mother, Lyanna Stark, and her Husband, Rhaegar Targaryan, the Last Dragon.

Jon, being a Sworn Brother of the Night's Watch, has vowed to never wed or lay with a woman, and thus cannot speak of his heritage as a claim to a throne, yet increasingly nobles of houses, the Golden Company, and Danaerys are planning on backing Jon's Claim to the Throne in a war set to tear Westeros apart.

As the group name suggests, Winter is Coming. With Jon preoccupied with his rather sudden claim to the throne of Westeros, the zeal he brought as Lord Commander has not came to fruition, and the undermanned Night's Watch faces absolute destruction from the Night King, who is raising an army unmatched by the likes of Westerosi Fiefs.

And so the question remains, will the Stag survive the Winter Ahead, or will another great house find their place on the Iron Throne? In the Game of Thrones, you either Live, or you Die. There is no In Between.
