Hey Shottys its your friendly weapon guide man Frost. Today I will be talking (or typing) about the Modern Warfare 3 exclusive shotgun KSG-12.
The KSG is the second earliest unlocked shotgun at level 4. Being a Bullpup shotgun the KSG deals high damage at the expense of a one-second action between shots. In fact the KSG deals the third highest damge of any shotgun, just being behind the Spas-12 and Model 1887. This gun has a 12 shell capacity tied with the Striker. This means that you can fire shell after shell into your enemy without reloading. Though this is balanced by its 9 second reload time from start to finish. This Shotgun is designed for veterens as it shoots 60 RPM (low for a shotgun)and deals moderate damage. Though as you level up you will relise that as your aim gets better you will adapt to the higher damage shotguns such as the Model 1887.
The attachments of my choice are Grip and possibly extended Magazines. And my profiency of choice is damage as it increases damage of a weapon by 40%. Yeha, goodbye Hitmarkers.
Overall this gun is one of my favourites dealing damage that could kill in at least 2 shots and a massive magazine capacity.
