It was the earliest part of the 13th Century. Medieval Europe has been wracked with the turmoil of war for the better part of a hundred years. The varying factions, nations and kingdoms, vying for control over the lands that many call home. But under the guise of honored soldiers, sneaky assassins and roaring berserkers, Mercenaries fight for gold and other loot. They sell their skills to the highest bitter, and if your lucky, they will sell their skills to the needy for free.

England - The leading power in Medieval Europe, England, a nation that has been sired and ruled by those that call themselves nobles. Their stalwart knights, and trained infantry are a sight to behold when they march upon castles and fields of battle. Ruled by a King whom which rules with an Iron Fist, and will allow now deception or secret plots against him.

France - The land of France, a people who know what war is, and how to fight. Their Regiments of fast attack calvary, and armored knights are a fear to all who see them. The current arch-enemy of England, France has fought many wars against their vicious enemy, neither willing to stand down, neither willing to give in.

The Wild Lands - Neither a kingdom nor a land sired by nobles, these lands are home to vicious barbarians and killers. Tribes of celts roam the borders, sacking and ravaging English and French villages, towns and castles. Deeper still, Bands of vicious Danish and Nordic Mercenaries march and do battle against eachother, and the lands of the 'Ordered Kingdoms'.

The Arabian Penninsula - A land of Sultans and Religion, the Arrabian Penninsula is ruled and fought over in holy wars. The Knights Templar, hard and challenging soldiers who have no equal in the art of infantry combat. The Arabians, men who have held their lands against the Religious fanatics of the Knights Templar, and the Pope.
