It's all real simple in a long complicated way. Joe Cabot is a crime lord who runs a dirty business of robbery and racketeering. He finds investors of their schemes and he sends his groups out to fulfill the heist. Usually only using robbers he has already worked with (exception for Mr. Orange) Joe Cabot has the ability to send his dogs out and take just about anything. The Los Angeles Gangster has several "Jobs" for his employees most notably the diamond heist for the famous six henchmen:Mr. White, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Pink, Mr. Brown, Mr. Blue, and Mr. Orange. It is easily assumed that Joe has alot more going on than just stealing diamonds, since during Mr. Pink's complaint about his name and wanting to switch to Mr. Purple, Joe retorts with "Some guy on some other job is Mr. Purple!" That is where we come in. Doesn't matter what color you are, just as long as you know the movie and love it as one of Tarantino's best.
