ABOUT The Forest Subreddit

Welcome to the The Forest Reddit Steam Group
The purpose of this group is to organise Co-Op sessions of The Forest and the migration of saves to create a communal save file. For example our first game will be on the release of v0.20 and I intend to share this file so other members can host it and make additions. An incredibly flawed concept, I'm still smoothing out the cracks. See the events page for details on upcoming subreddit sessions.

We have a dedicated server now!

With the new patch releasing dedicated server support, we have our own server now you can find it in the dedicated (internet) section of joining coop games its called reddit.com/r/theforest the password is "reddit" same rules of the sub apply to the server also no hacking/modapi apparently the server has VAC. Since this is early days expect possible wipes/downtime, please bare with us while we work out the kinks. Also special thanks to Jasper Stevens for helping sort out getting the server to run.
