The First Play Session

First play session should be next sunday- April 18th. It's not today because most of us are at the LAN, and ventrilo is blocked. Things you can do this week to make sure you are ready:

Glance over-
Player's Handbook
Player's Guide to Eberron
Books relating to your class (Complete Divine, Complete Adventurer, etc.)

Make some backstory! I can guarantee you you'll probably be discussing it in the playsession... it WILL come into play, so don't be caught unprepared!
