The Disinfected Gamer Group

The Disinfected play games of L4D2 Versus every Friday and Saturday night at 10:00PM UK.

Usually, the first into lobby will get priority to play, but our fuzzy selection is also based on your current membership standing and our civility. The teams are initially chosen by random and then balanced. These and other thankless tasks are handled by a nominated member. Decisions are non-negotiable, unless your opinion is invited.

We play the standard issue L4D2 Versus game. We expect all games to play without mods, hax, scripts, exploits, lerps and anything that isn't in the spirit of fair play.

Here are some of our additional rules:

Both teams must declare readied status before a chapter begins and survivors can leave saferoom. Until then, no rubber-necking from saferoom door, no running for close-by booty, no infected attacks and no door smashing. Shooting stray zombies or any incoming opposition is permitted from inside the bounds of saferoom. Infected are permitted to spawn, but not enter saferoom (unless declared as friendly).

If a player disconnects from the game then a call for wait should be made (unless they raged) and all movement must be stopped by both teams, unless an unstoppable moment is in progress (tanks, events, bleeding-out). No stealth shopping, no infected suiciding, no healing etc.

While ladder blocks can happen by accident, they are absolutely banned in our games. Please be mindful to not get into a situation where an accidental block may even occur (the opposition will go nuts).

Use not allowed, except single shots into safe-areas for alarming opposition and riling them into a pedantic quoting of the rules.

Early tanks to be killed on agreement at the time.

Sprays are encouraged, especially those that mock other members of the group. Porn orientated sprays are banned (jiggling boobies excluded). Other banned sprays include Nazi insignia, religious provocations (spaghetti monster excluded), dead people (usually) and anything the group deems as an affront to civility.
