What is the Bole Challenge?

The Bole Challenge is a special way to play Monaco, a top-down heist game. The term "Bole" is a portmanteau of the words "B!tch" and "Mole", coined by the player "Vellaroque". "Tigerfang" one day created the "Bole Challenge" whilst playing with the owner of the group, by stating that the Bole had to state an objective before beginning the map, and the team must carry out the objective whilst also trying to beat the daily fastest time on the map. This eventually evolved to become the official "Bole Challenge".

How does it work?

When the owner hosts an official Bole Competition, he will create a lobby, to which 3 other players will join. The owner will then state the Primary and Secondary objectives, before beginning the map. The groups are scored in 4 areas: Time, Primary Objective, Secondary Objective and Assistance.

TIME: This aspect is allocated 10 points. These points are awarded if the time completion is faster than the daily highest. However, 0 points will be awarded if it is not.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: There are 10 points allocated to this aspect, and will be awarded if the primary objective is completed. Of course, not completing the primary objective means immediate failure. There can be a total of 5 retries. If the group still fails to complete the primary objective, then no points are awarded to that team.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: This is an optional objective. Completing this will give 10 extra points, but it is not compulsory. Not completing the secondary objective means no extra points are given.

ASSISTANCE: This is the final aspect of the Bole Challenge. At the start of the map, 10 bonus points are allocated to the team. However, they lose one point for each time the Bole suffers a death. These points can then go into the negatives.

Bole Competitions

Each week at Sunday in the GMT+11 timezone, a Bole Competition will occur. Teams will be made by players, but a player cannot be in more than one team. Each team must also have a name. The Bole Competition operates as normal, although Daily Bests and map challenges will be maintained throughout the competition. There must be at least 2 teams prepared to compete in order for the competition to occur. Each week, a different team is chosen until all teams have competed. The scores will then be compared and winning teams will receive prizes depending on their tier.

Bronze is the lowest tier, and the campaign being run will be the Locksmith's Story, going from "The Lebanese Embassy" until "Hotel de Monaco".

Silver is the intermediate tier, and the campaign being run will be the Pickpocket's Story, going from "Foreign Affairs" until "Identity".

Gold is the highest tier, and the campaign being run will be Fin, going from "After the Fire" until "Paris, Forever".
