CS:GO Casual Competitive Team

Hows it going fellas.

I had a few messages from people who read the announcement I provided yesterday which were filled with confusion.

**MAIN ROSTER**

This roster includes people from anywhere in Europe and will be the roster we use for normal tournaments which provide no region lock for residents/combatants.

**UK ROSTER**

This roster is for events such as DreamHack Open London, events which require in the rulings that ALL participants of a team are from the UK/ROI. Obviously some members of the MAIN team aren't going to be available to play in this team, due to living in other countries than those allowed.


**HOW DO WE DECIDE?**

Those who make it past the interviewing period are then analyzed through performance, not necessarily on who is the best fragger. It depends on the role you're applying for, your attitude, your dedication, and your ability to mesh within the team.

This is covered through gameplay analysis, a lengthy process which includes playing games with you, looking at your specific role within a team and how well you cover it. For example, if we have a support player who is good with all the 'nade spots on the active duty maps, always is willing to drop, follows strategies, and has acceptable scoring patterns... he will be picked over a support who top frags, but never buys smokes/doesn't know 'nade spots, doesn't drop... I'm sure you get the idea.

**PROCEDURE**

-First you fill in the google docs form or discuss everything with me or snake directly.

-You then connect to teamspeak where we have a chit chat and I get to see your personality.

-We then head into a few games with some other people who are trying out, we can play either Competitive or Community Casual Competitive (same ruleset as Competitive, but doesn't affect your ranking)

-This happens over the course of a week, trying to get as many games in as possible with as many of you as possible

-We then invite everyone to teamspeak, where I take you aside one by one (with Snake's judgement also taken into account) and let you know if we feel you're suitable for a position in one of the Rosters, and if so which.

-You're then given chance to appeal the decision, or request more information on how to get into a roster if we've decided you would be more suited for a reserve role.

**That is a very basic breakdown of how we analyze applicants.**

If there are TWO people applying for the same role and both seem to have similar qualities, at that point we will attempt to host an inhouse in which one player will be on each side and it will come down to who is "better" at that role. For example, two AWPers have to have an AWP off to test positioning, peeking, and general movement.
