Initially being Khalifa's fan base network, street team and home to his crew it is currently a full label that holds Hip hop acts, and also runs a clothing line. The 'Taylor' hails from the high school that Wiz Khalifa attended, named Taylor Allderdice High School, and from his affinity for Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers. In December 2011, Khalifa revealed that rapper Juicy J was now a part owner and A&R representative for the label.The record label also doubles as a supergroup and they announced plans to release an album as a group in 2014.In July 2013, Khalifa signed Ty Dolla $ign to Taylor Gang Records.[4] On September 13, 2013, it was revealed LoLa Monroe and producer Cardo were no longer affiliated with the record label, the latter left the label after signing to Fool's Gold Records.[5]
