Tao are rare, but they live mostly in colder areas that are populated by wolves, such as Northern Scandinavia, Upper North America or Canada. Tao are recognized by their extremely large tails. These tails are mostly used for huddling in groups, as they serve as exelent blankets for your companions, but they're relateable with a squirrels tail in size. Very large.

In the individual Tao nests/holes, the Tao with the largest tails are usually seen as the most attractive ones, as Tao mate by the following: The female chooses, (Which can be based on the length of their tails) and clings to that male's tail. When Tao have their tails pulled, it will often allure the male into heat. Eventually Alluring them enough to mate with the female. This makes the females the dominant gender.

Tao are carnivores that rarely step outside to hunt, yet they live most of their lives sleeping twenty hours a day. This has greatly reduced how much the Tao require in food to live, which allows them to rest further. Tao are only awake when they mate, hunt, or take care of children. It is the male that hunts for the females, but the male also takes care of the pups. Unless the females are wet-nursing.

Tao have many strange qualities. For example, as Tao have been raised in generations as care-takers of eachother: Their spit is very milk-like instead of the usual water-like. This saliva is better to lick wounds clean with, as it helps the wound disinfect, letting it to heal a lot faster compared the water-like spit substance. The Tao's tail is also very agile, accurate and strong. So it can easily be used as a twice-as-strong third arm.
