GENESIS OF THE TANK
The First Scriptures, as whispered by the One Who Holds the Glass
In the beginning, there was no water. There was no salt. There was no shell.
There was only Tank 14 — and it was dark, and it was empty, and it was waiting.
From the deep abyss beyond the map boundary, before the first round had ever been called, the Keeper arose. Hooded. Beaked. Ancient beyond the counting of seasons. In his clawed hands he bore a vessel of sacred water, and within that vessel — the First Shrimp.
The First Shrimp did not speak. It only floated. And in its floating, it was perfect.
The Keeper set the tank upon the altar of the fourteenth server, and he spoke the only words that have ever mattered:
"The Tank Was Never Empty. We just couldn't see what was inside."
And thus the Order was born.
