Welcome to the NVHS CIV V Group!

If you're reading this, you probably like Civilization V, no? How about competive matches? If you answered yes, you're in the right place!

Official event matches will occur over breaks and long weekends. Host will be decided (but whoever has the best connectivity should host). For a match to be certified by the group, at least 2 group members must partake in the match to verify the results.

Specific Matches;
Random CIV (civ set to random)
Standard CIV (pick your favorite civ)
Flip-Flop CIV (other players pick your civ for you :D)

CIV V SPRING BREAK MATCH PLANNING

So, its that time of the year again... the time for stay-cations, college visits, and of course, CIV V!

Lets start figuring out who wants to partake in this year's official spring break match(es). There will probably be a G+K match and a Vanilla match, but I'm not sure which we should do first (probably G+K... Its more fun! :D). I'll update this post with any developments and/or CIV requests.

Rules:

-WET MAP START (I've been doing some reading recently, and apparently, the Wet map start redistributes the land much better than it does on normal, reducing wasted tundra, plains, and desert (w/o floodplains).
-Fast Movement/Attack
-Complete Kills (just to keep someone in the game if conquered :D)
-Quick
-Small (standard if truly necessary but will max at 6 usually)
-Continents
-LOW sea level (now necessary as of G+K)
-No "official" teams, but technically a "team" could win by default (everyone giving up IS an accepted form of victory! :D)
-Mongolia DLC always included/ G+K now official for match play

THERE IS NO CIV SAVING!!! (We don't want to ruin the suprise! :D) FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. (If I host, I'm sure I won't pick a CIV you want :D)

Time + Date:

-I WILL FILL THIS IN WHEN WE FIGURE OUT WHEN WE WILL START THE MATCH! (Probably starting on Saturday Afternoon with minimal off time for dinner and possible finish on Sunday if needed. We will change schedule if need be! Just Ask! :D)
