And most people think Hobbes was sympathic to Cromwell
But I admit, King Charles I was one of my ideal kings from this pov. That's a very controversial opinion. Most people feel he was a loser, but he was also a king--out of all the martyr kings like Tsar Nicholas II and King Louis XVI as they often put up--I am most sympathetic to King Charles I.
