Founded in 2021, Task Force Viper was established with the vision of creating the most realistic small unit missions through a highly capable ground element working seamlessly with a coordinated detachment of aviators. At TFV, we emphasize minor but crucial operational details and teamwork, where performing in the field feels genuinely satisfying.

Within the 160th SOAR Aviation Detachment, the devotion to a high standard of realism and coordination reflects the scope that TFV aims to achieve. Due to our small group of like-minded, precision focused, and dedicated aviators, Pilots are able to fill multiple roles to accomplish complex mission objectives as a team rather than individuals.
As a community, TFV focuses on dedicating a few hours each week to immersive and realistic operations while understanding the balance between commitment to the unit and peoples real lives. We foster a culture where any member feels responsible for their performance, knowledge of their craft, and accountability for their air frames and other aviators or troops. Where each member contributes to the teams success.
