It is 400 CE, and Rome lets out its last breaths

Rome was power. Rome was glory. Rome was civilization.

Rome is now weak.

Divided in two, with an Emperor ruling in Ravenna in the west, and an Emperor ruling in Constantinople in the east. The ancient Roman gods have been put aside for the Christian god, and the Legions have become bloated with non-Romans and stretched thin across an Empire encompassing most of the western world. From the east, strange men, riding mounts as swift as the wind, have forced a great migration of the barbarians.

Will these multitudes prove too much for an Empire on its last legs? Or will the sons of Rome find the steel that was in their core once more?

Only time will tell, for in the end, time bests all.
