The Legend of Solenya

Solen'ya (Russian: Соленья, meaning "pickles") is an old wives tale told in the episode "Pickle Rick". It is also what the guards and the Agency Director refer Rick as when he enters his building. According to some of the guards, Solen'ya is a pickle man who crawls from bowls of soup and steals the dreams of wasteful children.

In real life, this isn't an existing myth. Instead, it appears to be a parody on John Wick franchise, where Baba Yaga (an actual Russian myth) is a codename of a deadly and nearly unstoppable assassin.
